CONy 2022 – Best Abstract Award for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia
Dr. Isidora Rovčanin Dragović presented preliminary results of the project DEMONSTRATE at the 16th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology (CONy) in March of 2022. By the decision of the Congress Co-Chairs and Section Heads the poster abstract showed a high scientific quality of work, and Dr. Rovčanin Dragović received the Best Abstract Award for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.

Participation at the National Congress of Serbian Pathologists
On 14th of May 2022, Dr. Janja Raonić represented the Clinical Center of Montenegro and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro at the 17th National Congress of Serbian Serbian Pathologists and Cytologists Association with International Participation in Zlatibor, Serbia. She presented her research results in entitled: „Potential Prognostic Significance of miRNA-101 and miRNA-125 Expression in Colon Cancer“.

DEMONSTRATE team to participate at the 2022 CONy Conference
Dr. Isidora Rovčanin Dragović will present preliminary results from the project DEMONSTRATE related to the research on mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s dementia at the 16th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology. This conference will be held virtually from March 24-27, 2022.

Preliminary Results Presented at the First Congress of the Section for Histology and Embryology of the Serbian Medical Association
Two members of the DEMONSTRATE research team, Ljiljana Vučković MD PhD, and Janja Raonić MD participated in the First Congress of the Section for Histology and Embryology of the Serbian Medical Association. The congress was organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary since founding the Institute of Histology and Embryology “Aleksandar Đ. Kostić” at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade.
Dr. Vučković and Dr. Raonić presented preliminary results from the project DEMOSTRATE related to colon cancer research. The presentation was titled “Analysis of expression levels of selected microRNAs and their correlation with clinical and pathological characteristics of colon cancer”.

DEMONSTRATE Final Report Evaluation
We have just received the final evaluations for the project results and final report. We got the score 95/100 based on the expert evaluations and the Ministry. The evaluation result officially wraps up the project, but we will continue the research activities based on the collected data and project results.
